Cycling for the Environment and the City of Neubrandenburg

Neubrandenburg is once again inviting all residents, workers, students, and learners to participate in the third edition of STADTRADELN. This nationwide campaign promotes cycling as an environmentally-friendly and healthy alternative to other means of transportation. The action period extends over three weeks, from May 29 to June 18, 2026.

In recent years, the city has already cycled over a million kilometers, and this success should continue in 2026. The goal is to cover as many kilometers as possible by bike to collectively make a statement for climate protection. At the same time, the campaign provides a fantastic opportunity to get to know the city and its surroundings better.

Whether alone, with family, or in a team – everyone can participate in STADTRADELN and win something. There are various awards to be won: for the most kilometers cycled, for the most active school team, and many more. All participants are invited to share their successes and experiences on the official platform.
